My Dad

  1. Erin Said,

Wow, your video of your dad blew me away. I was brought to a youtube video by a message board on bipolar kids and found your video on your dad. My father passed away 15 years ago today (March 17) and I have the exact same thoughts you do in your video especially regarding my children. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Jenn Said,

Jo - of course Dad would be proud of you. I’ve always struggled with thought of the “afterlife”. You now I really think when you die, your gone period. But there is always that little part of me that likes to imagine dad sitting on a cloud somewhere playing cards with his buddies and looking down at us smiling. Sometimes that gets me through a hard day. I love him so much too. He was my best friend for years - he left a huge void in my life. But all you can do is move on and remember him in ways like this. Great job Jo. Love you!

Folks I gotta tell you this is now my favorite video. The comment above is from my sister who I love dearly and I am so glad she liked my vid and approved of my tribute! I miss him too Jenn and I love you too!

  4. Connie Said,

Jo, your video really touched my heart. I feel exactly the same way about my mom. She passed away almost 23 years ago…one month before I me my husband. I see her smle in my daughter…her way of looking out for the underdog in my son… I miss her so much! Good thing you and I have each other to get sentimental with! Hugs to you, my friend We shall persevere and get well together!

    Love Connie!

  5. Brenda Said,

    Dear Jo,

Your video tribute to Dad was well thought out and put together nicely (wow, I can’t believe it’s been 15 years). I will share it with Cathy and Kim next time they are here. Love you, girl!

    Have a faithful day!

    Brenda

  6. Gina Said,

Phenomenal tribute…look for my e-mail- I just happened upon your site!

    Best,

    Gina

  7. Grant Said,

Hi Jo, I also lost my dad in 2003. Your Video brought back memories of my loss. I am bi-polar(self diagnosed) and can relate to your videos. Thank you for making a difference in someone’s life. I know that there is an after life, because there had to be an architect for earth’s design (all the complexities and intricacies of life). I also know that Jesus Christ loves you and knows everything you are going through. He wants to comfort you through all of life’s struggles, and share in the joys he has blessed you with(your kids, family, etc…). “Do you know? Have you heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.” Isaiah 40:28 You are never alone. I am praying that you will have the Joy of the Lord in your life, and know that you are special. Grant
